what is reaction time and how do we measure it

A

reaction time = time taken for the subject to react to an external stimulus.
one way to measure reaction time is the ruler drop test.
reaction time is about 0.2 seconds

A

this is the distance travelled before a response is initiated.
eg if you are on a bike and you break suddenly you have travelled a distance before you begin to break. this is thinking distance
