- CPR as soon as have adequate chest access and airway access
- AED as soon as have adequate chest access & AED available
- Helmet and shoulder pads removal generally done after a sequence of 2 min CPR
- Once removed, do another sequence of AED/ 2 min CPR before proceeding to boarding
- Once on the spinal board resume AED/CPR while other people are securing the athlete on the board
