What is a solid?
A
A solid is something that cannot change shape or volume, it’s particles are arranged in straight rows and cannot move Eg: wood, brick or glass.

What is a liquid?
A
A liquid is something that can mould it’s shape and can spread about, Its particles are relatively close together but can still move slightly. Eg: water, juice, tea.

What is a gas? I’m
A
A gas can move very fast in different directions as it’s particles aren’t help together closely at all. Eg: oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide.
