Macintyre

A

Macintyre believed in a theory of moral fragmentation since the period of enlightenment.

His partial solution lies in a unified life narrative which is based on engagement and practices which cultivate virtues, and where internal goods are generated.

The concept of moral fragmentation is that there is no agreed consensus formally issued in healthcare including in issues do healthcare justice.

There are fragmented concepts of illness and disease, there are competing George’s regarding the philosophy of health and what health is, and there are differing views on personal responsibility for health.
