A

Staphylococcus aureus
Gram positive (blue) clusters of cocci (anaerobic)
Salmonella species in sickle cell patients

How would you manage osteomyelitis?

A

Flucloxacillin for 6 weeks (beta-lactam - cell wall)

Clindamycin if pen-allergic (inhibits protein synthesis)
