Q

What are features that both plant and animal cells share?

A

Both plant and animal cells have the following:

  1. A nucleus (the most important part of the cell that controls everything it does)
  2. Cytoplasm (the jelly like material in the cell where most chemical reactions happen)
  3. A cell membrane ( the skin around the cell that holds it together and also controls what goes in and out of the cell)
  4. Mitochondria (The tiny structures inside the cell where most of the reactions for aerobic respiration takes place. Respiration releases energy for the cell)
