Mission Statement
A
The mission of the Seattle Police Department communication section is to quickly and professionally answer questions for service for the city of Seattle; to provide professional dispatch, notification, and communication services for the department; and to facilitate reporting of minor incidents via telephone and online systems. As a component of the field support bureau, the communication section is expected to provide telecommunications between the public and appropriate safety agencies.
