Serotonin Syndrome. Need to DC SSRI at least 2 weeks before starting a MAOi. Serotonin syndrome is characteristic for triad of AMS, autonomic dysregulation, and neuromuscular hyperactivity.

What’s the difference between conversion disorder and somatic symptom disorder?

A

conversion disorder - neuro symptoms incompatible with known neurologic disease, often acute onset assoc with stress.

Somatic symptom disorder - excessive anxiety and preoccupation with > 1 unexplained symptom.

OCPD - impairment and distress related to pervasive need for control and perfection. Egosyntonic.
