shouting and yelling. = agitates animals aggressive handling. = fatigue and injuries.
catching neck and tail = injuries.
large cattle should not be moved in groups
kicking animals causes injuries
animals need room to turn so don’t use crowd gates.

  • don’t move objects
  • don’t combine big & small animals in a crush
  • don’t yell at animals
  • careful around blind animals
  • handler should speak softly
