Fibre use + examples
Helps digestion
Examples; fresh fruit and veg. Brown bread, nuts, cinnamon
Why is calcium essential in our diet?
To help our bones grow
Gas exchange definition
The movement of oxygen from the alveoli into the blood and the movement of carbon dioxide from the blood into the alveoli
Why do our fingers bleed when we cut them?
When we cut our fingers we cut the arteries.
Why is breathing different to respiration?

Anaerobic respiration definition
Transfers energy from glucose to cells without oxygen
What is respiration?
The process of releases energy from food
Aerobic respiration definition
Releases energy from glucose (sugar in food) using oxygen
