angina - management

A

aspirin, statin + GTN, then:

1° - beta-blocker or rate-limiting ccb (verapamil, diltiazem)
2° - beta-blocker + LR CCB (MR nifedipine) (never verapamil with beta-blocker)
3° - ISMN or ivabridine

atenolol is 1st line in angina with co-existent heart failure

ivabradine - reduces HR
