Q

Micturition

A
  • Sphincter muscles relax and detrusor muscles contract
  • Parasympathetic= pelvic splanchnic nerves from S2-s4 stimulates detrusor and inhibits sphincters
  • Sympathetic= L1-L2 from hypogastric plexus, stimulates sphincters to contract
  • Somatic= S2-S4 control of external sphincter

Q

Spermatic cord

A
  • Connects the testis to the anterior abdo. wall
  • Starts at deep inguinal ring, passes through inguinal canal and exits at superficial inguinal ring
  • Within it= aterial supply, enitofemoral nerve, pampiniform venous plexus, Lymphatics, vas deferens.
