What are the aims of CBT?

A
  • Identify individuals thinking that causes problematic feelings and behaviour.
  • Question the individuals -ve thinking/ feeling in order to enable +ve change in thought process
  • Identify unwanted behavioural patterns
  • Plan goals to achieve change sought and step by step process for achievement of those goals
