A

What is 2 basic functions of lymph glands?

A

To clean up lymph before it renters blood stream by sieving out, trapping + destroying foreign materials
Monitoring lymph for tell tale signs of organic predators e.g. infection so playing vital role in our immune system responses

What are 3 functions of lymphatic system?

A

Fluid balance (homeostasis) => clears away mess circulatory system leaves behind
Tissue immunity => lymphatic system houses immune system + is responsible for tissue immunosurveillance
Fat homeostasis => lymphatic system is responsible for gut fat absorption + peripheral fat reabsorption
