Radiotherapy

A

o Decreases risk of recurrence to <10% at 10 years – corresponding increase in survival
o Axillary radiotherapy used if sentinel node biopsy comes back positive and clearance not performed
o SEs include pneumonitis, pericarditis and rib fractures
