  • Low energy, mostly seated
  • Help with transfers
  • All activities you can do seated! E.g. playing cards, on computer, watching movies, desk work , sewing, knitting
  • Possibly walking (1 mi/hr)

A

-In Phase I (Acute Inpatient)
-Dressing
-Seated sponge bath/seated shower with warm water
(NO hot water or super cold water–takes more energy)
-UEs take more energy than LE
-Dusting, doing dishes
-Playing instruments
-walking 2 mi/hours (at level TWO-three, walk TWO mi/hr)

  • Standing shower with warm water (NO hot or cold)
  • Household chores (cuz you HOME!): sweep, mop, gardening, making bed
  • Still, don’t use a lot of exertion
  • Fishing, sailing
  • Walking (THREE-4 mph)
  • Archery, sailing, fishing, badminton (social doubles)
