Perpendicular post to ant at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cun

Pain on posterior aspect of head and neck, occipital headaches, torticollis, pain and spasm of traps and SCM, whip lash, greater occipital nerve neuralgia, RA at C1-C2 and ligamentous strain at C1-C2

Parasympathetic switch, increases ROM of knee, hamstring tendonitis, Baker’s cyst, LBP, achilles tendinitis

On the post of the leg, at the apex of the inverted V of the musculotendinous junction of the gastrocs, 8 cun below the popliteal crease and 8 cun above the level the most prominent point of the lateral malleolus

Sciatic pain, low back pain, spasticity of posterior leg, myofascial pain in hamstrings, gastrocs and soleus, achilles tendinitis, plantar fasciitis

In the centre of the depression located on the horizontal lien running parallel with the plantar aspect of the foot midway btw the most prominent aspect of the lateral malleolus

Lateral to medial at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cun

Sympathetic switch, special for MSK disorders, radicular sciatic pain due to lumbar disc problem, pain and inflammation of sciatic nerve, lateral ankle sprain, achilles tendinitis, pain and inflammation of peroneus longus and brevis
