Insertion: Trochanteric fossa of femur
Action: Adduction and external rotation at hip joint
Pectineus
Origin: Pecten pubis
Insertion: Pectineal line of femur
Action: Adduction, internal rotation and weak flexion of hip joint, pelvic stability
Adductor Longus
Origin: Medial part of superior ramus of pubis
Insertion: Linea aspera
Action: Adduction and flexion of hip, extension and external rotation of the femur
Gracilis
Origin: Pubic symphysis and inferior pubic ramus
Insertion: Medial surface of tibia
Action: Adduction of hip joint, flexion and internal rotation of knee
