Where does psoas major arise from?
T12 - L5
Where does psoas major attach to?
Lumbar vertebrae bodies to the femur
What is the function of the psoas major?
Flexes the hip
What are the attachments of the iliacus?
Internal surface of pelvic bone to the femur
What is the function if iliac?
Flexes the hip
What muscle is found lateral to psoas major?
Quadratus lumborum
What are the attachments of quadrates lumborum?
12th rib and tip of transverse process of L1-L5. To the iliolumar ligament and to part of the iliac crest
What is the attachments of Quadratus lumborum?
Lateral rotator and stabiliser of the hip
