Q

What is the structure of an Anaxonic neuron? and where are they found?

A

Anaxonic neurons are small and lack anatomical features that distinguish dendrites from axons, all cell processes look alike. These neurons are located in the brain and in special sense organs. They are poorly understood LOL

Q

What is the structure of unipolar neurons? and where are they found?

A

In a unipolar neuron, the dendrites and axon are continuous, and the cell body is off to the side. Most sensory neurons of the PNS system are unipolar, they are mostly the nervous system. They are also the longest neuron.

Q

What is the structure of Bipolar neurons? and where are they found?

A

Bipolar neurons have two distinct processes, the cell body separates the dendritic processes and the axon. These occur in special sense organs, where they relay information about sight, smell or hearing. They are also very small.

Q

What is the structure of multipolar neurons? and where are they found?

A

Multipolar neurons have two or more dendrites and a single axon. They are the most common neuron in the CNS system. They control all skeletal muscles
