Entering a CBTC area

A
  1. Move MCS to inter.
  2. Plug the ITD into the socket in the active cab under the VOBC.
  3. Ensure the red wrong mode light is lit on the ITD.
  4. Press the override button and ensure the yettlow correct mode light is lit.
  5. Unplug the ITD.
  6. Ensure brakes do not release in tripcock mode.

Leaving a CBTC area

A
  1. Move the MCS to inter.
  2. Plug the ETD into the socket in the active cab under the VOBC.
  3. Ensure the red wrong mode light is lit on the ETD.
  4. Press the override button and ensure the yettlow correct mode light is lit.
  5. Unplug the ETD.
  6. Ensure the brakes release in tripcock mode.
