Romance and imaginative appeal ~ the feelings and the sense were felt to be of great importance.

Nature. It was seen as something extremely precious.
Thus, the cities were considered miserable because they are destroying nature/ there is not much nature.

A
Nature was seen as God’s work and its beauty was seen as having regenerative (renewing) powers.

This is where nature is of great importance. It is where God, nature, and man were part of a whole worth no part being more important than the others (therefore, different to Christianity…).
