Treatment resistant schizophrenia
After adequate trial of two antipsychotics (one being atypical)

What are the serious side effects of clozapine?
A
Heart - myocarditis
Brain - seizures
Blood - agranulocytosis
Belly - severe constipation from intestinal hypomotility; diabetes

What cardiac tests are monitored with clozapine?
A
ECHO, ECG, troponin, CRP
