  1. Complete all enquires to ID possible offence.
  2. When your not a qualified constable, seek authority to issue an order from a constable who is. (note a relieving acting sergeant is not qualified).
  3. Authorising officer, document discussion about authorisation, sign POL 1310, make notebook recordings circumstances.

  • detain for up to 2 hours
  • remove person from premises.
