- Hydrogen burns rapidly with a pop sound.

Insert a glowing splint into a tests tube tube of the gas.
- The splint relights in oxygen

Bubble, or shake, carbon dioxide through limewater.
- Carbon dioxide turns limewater cloudy/milky.

- Chlorine bleaches the litmus paper - turns white.
