Difference between “DIRECT” and “INDIRECT / DERIVED” parameters

DIRECT –obtained straight from the monitoring device (i.e, Heart rate, arterial, venous pressures)

INDIRECT/ Derived –calculated using the direct data
(i.e, cardiac index, MAP, stroke volume)
