Tertiary structure

A

The way the 3d arrangements are folded into more complex shapes.
Held together by hydrogen bonds and by sulfur bridges and ionic bonds

Q

Process of protein synthesis

A

Instructions for required protein sequence is carried on the DNA which makes up the chromosomes of cells.
Instructions are carried to the cell organelles that carry out the synthesis by RNA.
Forming even small peptides is difficult as the conditions needed to add more amino acids can rupture one of the peptide bonds produced earlier.
