Q

What’s the situation with NI?

A

NI will forever be in a UK customs territory, and benefit from the free trade deals we strike. The backstop has been removed. The Good Friday Agreement is respected. There are no checks at the border. To ensure the integrity of the single market there is an all-island regulatory zone in Ireland. This zone depends on the democratic consent of the people in NI. The people of NI will be in charge of the laws they live by and will have the right to end the special arrangement if they so choose via the Assembly and Executive.
