It was a conference held by the leaders of European countries that won WW1.

It was held in the hall of mirrors. This was the same room where Wilhelm II declared German unification.

What did George Clemenceau want?
He wanted Germany to pay and be humiliated in the TOV. He believed that Germany should lose land, money and dismantle them back into states.
What did David Lloyd want?
He wanted ‘a just peace’. He wanted to punish Germany but not too much. He believed Germany should be helped through trade
What did Wodrow Wilson want?
He wanted peace. His main aim was ‘self determination’ and ‘isolationism’.
