fundamentally they are helping clients take full advantage of the opportunities they have

Why do you want to work at Capgemini?

1. Culture/ environment
   i really connect with the core values that shapes capgeminis culture and approach in business,
   -team spirit- almost second nature to me- i thrive in teams and i believe that people working together can achieve amazing things due to personal strengths and experiences- i enjoy forming relationships with colleagues and i believe i would be a perfect fit,
   -freedom- independence and the ability to be creative- you’re able to set your own goals and ultimately its down to you to achieve them- i enjoy setting goals for myself and therefore i think i would thrive at capgemini
   I’m also really attracted by the initiatives put in place for joiners- receive a buddy, access to an online portal to contact other joiners- its clear that capgemini cares about its employees and is active in creating a positive, collaborative working environment

   -very excited to learn about the capgemini group university - i am passionate about learning and I am incredibly interested in building my knowledge on the latest technology- the learning and development strategy is incredibly appealing as the emphasis is on life- long learning and constantly developing your understanding in order to stay up-to-date and ultimately- competitive

Why this role? And what makes me suitable for this role?

I have selected this role for a number of reasons:
-i would like to have a client facing role which involves working collaboratively with clients to provide individualised solutions - had a lot of experience with working with others- team sport, group projects and my part-time work- i enjoy working with others
-i am very attracted to the variability involved in consulting including the different industries the clients are from and the teams i would be working with
-finally i enjoy problem solving which I got to develop during my degree and i would like to apply my abilities in a business setting
my suitability:
-strong interpersonal skills- supervisor in training at waitrose- constantly communicating with both colleagues and customers- ive learnt how to adapt my communication style in accordance to who im talking to- most importantly how to listen and be empathetic
-strong organisational skills- as a waitress i had to organise myself and the other waitresses to ensure service was efficient as possible and that all the servers were on the same page
-problem solving abilities– throughout my degree i had to analyse large amounts of data and use statistical analyses to produce conclusions- my dissertation involved the analysis of a large amount of data in a field i was unfamiliar with, i had to continually problem solve in order to understand my topic and produce 2 pieces of written work, a video and an oral presentation. I achieved a first for this project

Why technology?

1. Technology is an exciting area full of possibilities, we’re in a place where we’re seeing numerous emerging technologies - AI, robotics, the internet of things
   companies are having to embrace technology now more than ever in order to stay competitive
   need to have people who fully understand different technologies in order for them to be used effectively
   i would love to develop a thorough understanding of these technologies and be able to advise clients and allow them to experience the full potential of technology
2. Inevitable that technology will continue to evolve and become a bigger consideration for businesses and consumers alike- area of growth- opportunities for specialisation etc - very attractive to someone like me who isnt sure where i want my career to progress
