A

•The Inspira AIR is available in seven balloon sizes:
o 5, 7 and 8.5mm diameters by 24mm length
o 10, 12, 14 and 16mm diameters by 40mm length.
•This non-compliant Airway Balloon reaches its stated size at 5 atmospheres.
•The maximum inflation pressures are dependent on balloon size selected
o 16 atmospheres on the 5 and 7mm balloons
o 12 atmospheres on the 8.5 and 10mm balloons
o 10 atmospheres on the 12 and 14mm balloons
o 8 atmospheres on the 16mm balloon.

•You can also refer to the Inspira AIR reference chart for this information.
•The strain relief denotes the balloon size.
•The proximal end of Inspira Air has two luer connectors.
o The in-line port is the dedicated Airway Stylet lumen.
o The side port, marked with a “B”, is for the Acclarent Inflation Device.
•The Inspira Air is packaged with an Airway Stylet made of a stainless steel core wire that transitions to an atraumatic coil tip.
•It is used to introduce and place Inspira AIR into the anatomy.
•Use of the Airway Stylet is optional but recommended.
