GB1 Indications

A
  1. Eye problems: Eye pain, redness, swelling and pain of the eyes, lacrimation on exposure to wind, itching of the eyes, redness and itching of the inner and outer canthus, short sightedness, Superficial Visual Obstruction, dimness of vision, night blindness, glaucoma.
  2. Wind: Deviation of the mouth and eye, Throat Painful Obstruction, headache, pain of the supraorbital ridge.
  3. Heat: LV Yang/Heat Rising effecting the head - headache, eye problems, similar to Taiyang which is used more.

Local point for manifestations of heat - pain, inflammation, etc

A

1. Benefits ears: Tinnitus, otitis media, deafness, redness, swelling, pain and purulent discharge from the ear, itching of the ear.

2. Eliminates wind/clears heat: TMJ disorder, trigeminal neuralgia, facial paralysis, mumps, toothache, Windstroke, deviation of the mouth and eye, difficulty in masticating, disorientation.

Primary: Wry mouth, toothache, tinnitus, deafness
