What are the AKI stages?

A

Stage 1

  • 50-100% creatinine increase
  • 0.5 ml/kg/h for 6 hours

Stage 2

  • 100-200% creatinine increase
  • 0.5 ml/kg/h for 12 hours

Stage 3

  • 200%+ creatinine increase
  • 0.3 ml/kg/h for 24 hours

A

Pre-renal

What are pre-renal causes?

A

No supply = volume depletion
Slow supply = hypotension
Irregular supply = HF, arrhythmias
Blocked supply = stenosis, cancer
