Q

How is glucose filtered by the kidney?

A

Mainly SGLT2 transporters in PCT reabsorbs glucose from lumen into the cell

Q

At what blood glucose concentration would you expect to find glucose in your urine?

A

11 mmol/l

due to saturation of SGLT2 so glucose can no longer be reabsorbed
