how is a standard prescription written?

provide 3 points

A
  1. First line contains the drug name and dose
    Ex: Lasix 40 mg
  2. Second line contains the directions for use
    Ex: Sig + tab po bid ( take one tablet by mouth x2 day)
  3. Third line contains the number of tablets to be dispersed:
    Ex: #14
