a) PMHx - ear surgery, ear/URTI infections, grommet insertions, trauma (ossicular disruption, perforation)
b) FHx - hearing loss, Meniere’s
c) Ototoxic drugs (aminoglycosides, furosemide, other)
d) Noise exposure (+ protection), swimmer (bony exostosis, otitis externa)
