Q

What is the reaction between I2KI and starch? Why is this important to our lab we did?

A

I2KI reacts with starch to make a purple color, if starch leaked out of the bag into the beakers the solution would have turned purple. some of the I2KI did go into the bag and start turning the solution purple.
