  1. Believe in restorative justice -punishment allowing criminal to make amends by meeting and apologizing to their victim.
    - Victim receives closure and relieves trauma

  2. Evil comes from humans b/c Adam and Eve brought evil into the world when they chose to disobey God and eat from tree of knowledge.

A
  1. God allows evil to exist b/c suffering through evil is necessary to develop moral souls
  2. Knowledge of good and evil is not innate so we suffer to learn lessons about morality and virtue.
