A
  • No positive oil pressure within 10 sec of N2 increase
  • No ITT increase within 30 seconds of fuel application
  • Itt exceeds start limit (hot start)
  • N1 and/or N2 Fail to accelearte stable idle speed (Hung start)
  • intermittent electrical pneumatic or start malfunction prior to starter disengagement.
  • During tailwind, no positive increase of N1 before starter cutout (50% N2)

How does engine overspeed protection work?

A

When N2 reaches 102% FADEC shuts engine down. if overspeed is detected 3 times in 30 seconds FADEC will not relight the engine.
