What things does Macbeth reveal his is concerned about in his soliloquy?
He is concerned that it must be done quickly to avoid suspicion and blow up in their faces. He feels bad because Duncan is his cousin and guest. Macbeth is subject and he has sword loyalty to him. Finally, Duncan is a good king. Macbeth has no reason to kill him other than his own desire for the throne.
How does Lady Macbeth react when Macbeth says he no longer wants to kill the king?
She says that he has been disloyal to her and lacks true masculinity. She implies that she is more manly than he is and this changes his mind.
Why does Macbeth tell his wife he no longer wants to discuss murdering the king.
Duncan just bestowed an honour on him and other people have been singing his praises.
What is Lady Macbeth’s murderous plan?
Get a tired Duncan and his guards drunk and then murder the king in his sleep. Everyone will believe that they did it so long as the Macbeth’s looking innocent and appear to be grieving.
