17
Q

What is the approximate lengh of a Right & Left IJ Catheter?

A

Right IJ: 16 cm

Left IJ: 20 cm

Left Subclavian: 19 cm

19
Q

What position should the patient be in for CVC Insertion & Removal?

A

Trendelenberg

On Removal, ask pt. to exhale as catheter is being removed to prevent air embolism
