1
Q

EKG interpretation

A

R ventricular Hypertrophy

R axis deviation? yes

Q

EKG interpretation

A

L ventricular Hypertrophy

R axis deviation? no, so not RVH

How many mm is the S in V1 + R in V5? 20+15 = 35

Q

Diagnostic criterion for a Right Bundle Branch Block

A

QRS widening to at least 0.11 seconds but not wider

A rSR or RsR in Right sided lead V1

A wide terminal S wave in leads 1 and V6

Q

Diagnostic criterion for a LBBB

A

QRS widening to at least 0.12 seconds

An upright QRS complex in Leads 1 and V6

The QRS may be notched, but there should not be and q wave in either lead 1 or V6

A predominantly negative QRS complex in lead V1
