A

Ascorbic acid. High amounts may cause diarrhea and can be easily destroyed

  • Helps maintain collagen, the basis for all connective tissue. Needed to give support and shape to the body
  • Helps convert tryptophan to serotonin
  • Helps convert folic acid and tyrosine to neurotransmitters dopamine and epinephrine
  • Acts as an antioxidant and protects damage to vit A, E
  • stimulates neutrophils (immunity)
  • Anti-inflammatory & anti-histamine
