Cell
The smallest unit that can perform all life processes.
Nucleus
In a eukaryotic cell, a membrane-bound organelle that contains the cell’s DNA and that ha a role in processes such as growth, metabolism, and reproduction.

the fluid inside a cell.
Cell membrane
a phospholipid layer that covers a cells surface and acts as a barrier between the inside of a cell and the cells invierment.
cell wall
a ridgid structure that surrounds the cell membrane and provides suporrt to the cell.
Mitochondria/ mitochondrion
the cell organelle that is surrounded by two membranes and that is the site of cellular respiration.
chloroplast
a green pigment that captures light energy for photosynthesis
golgi complex
a cell organelle that helps make a package materials to be transported out of the cell
endoplasmic reticulum
a sytem of membranes that is found in a cells cytoplasm and that assista in the production, processing, and transport, of proteins and in the production of lipids.
ribosome
a cell organelle composed of rna and proteins; the site of protein synthesis.
lysosome
a cell organelle that contains digestive enzmes.
vacuole
stored water in a cell
organelle
one of the smallest bodues in cells cytoplasm that are specialized to preform a speific function
prokarytoe
an orgaism that consist of a single cell that does not have a nucleus enclosed by a membrane.
eukaryote
an organism made up of cells that has a nucleus enclosed by a membrane.
