Project life cycle?
Collection of sequential or overlapping project phases.
Project phases?
IPEMCC + Communication with upper management + Reference for comparing projects (Output, Template, Guidelines, History, benchmarking)
Every project start as a single phase project format

Types of multiphase projects?
- Sequential
- Overlapping
- Iterative
Explain sequential multiphase project?
No uncertainty, one finishes next starts
Explain Overlapping multiphase project?
Increase risk, but decrease time
Explain Iterative multiphase project?
Plan while executing one before, max quality and minimize risk, but take more time.
What is stakeholder?
Anyone who is affected by the outcome of the project. PM should manage their expectations and keep them updated.
Explain functional org. structure?
No project based relation among departments, every department is independent and func.mans are superior. Func mans are PMs
Explain weak matrix org.structure?
There is project coordination among departments, there are project coordinators [staff members] which are not functional managers.
Balanced matrix org structure?
There is legit and certified PM, not staff member, but limited authority.
Strong matrix org. structure?
Full time PMs with authority, and Project administrative staff with PMO.
Projectized org. structure?
Everyone is involved in project, PMs have full authority, and independence, main strategy of company is to o projects.
When is project closed?
- When project requirements are met
- When project requirements cannot be met
- Project is no longer needed
What office provides OPA?
The PMO provides OPA
