What is heteroptropia?
A
Heterotropia is a manifest deviation (strabismus) in which the foveas of both eyes are not simultaneously aligned on the object of regard.

What is heterophoria?
A
Heterophoria is a latent deviation in which the visual axes are normally directed to the fixation object, but deviate when the eyes are dissociated.

When is orthophoria present?
A
Orthophoria, is present when there is no deviation on dissociation.

A
- Uncorrected refractive error
- Accommodative anomalies
- Anisekonia
- Occupational (poor working conditions)

- Secondary to pathology
- Poor general health
