Presentation of pompholyx eczema?
ITCH
Spongiotic vesicles
Fingers, palms and soles of feet
Rash erythematous rash with intensely itchy vesicles that burst to produce superficial erosions
Who gets azteototic eczema?
Elderly patients
Presentation of azteototic eczema?
Rash: dry skin with polygonal fissures that create a crazy paving pattern seen on the lower limbs
Treatment of azteototic eczema?
Emollients
Who gets venous eczema?
Elderly patients
Why does venous eczema develop?
Due to venous insufficiency of the lower limbs
Presentation of venous eczema?
Rash: dry, scaly skin with a red/brown colour due to hemosiderin deposition
Management of venous eczema?
Compression to treat venous insufficiency
