Origins- transverse processes of C1-4 (sits lat)
Insertion- med border scapula between sup angle and med end of scapular spine

Innervation- Dorsal Scapula C4-5
Other actions- side flex/ext of neck, resists depression if weight in hand

A

Origin(Maj)- T2-5 spinous processes and supraspinous ligt
Insertion- med border of scapula between base of scapular spine and inf angle

Origin(Min)- C7-T1 spinous processes and supraspinous ligt
Insertion- med border of scapular spine

Innervation- Dorsal Scapula C4-5

A

Origin- ribs 3-5 and their intercostal cartilages
Insertion- coracoid process of scapula

Innervation- Med/Lat Pectoral L6-8
Other action- accessory muscle of inspiration if necessary as attaches to ribs
