Incarceration statistics

A

Even after the incarceration rate dropped 25% from 2000 to 2015, Black men were still nearly 6 x more likely to be incarcerated than white men, 25x more likely than black women and 50 times more likely than white women. Black men raised in top 1% of millionaires are as likely to be incarcerated as white men raised in households earning $36,000
