  • reduce the effects of indirect- acting agents

ANTICHOLINERGICS

  • TCA has antocholinergic activity hence will intensify anticholinergic effects

CNS DEPRESSANTS

  • sedation of TCAs exacerbated by agents such as alcohol, antihistamine, opiods, barbiturates, benzos
